Psalm 68-11 – The Lord gives the Word of power and the women who bear and publish the news are a great host.
This Ministry is a call of God to the women of this Church to rise up in the power of His Word and to go forth in His name and in the mighty power of His Holy Spirit and to affect the hearts and lives of others for Jesus. Women are called to take the Word of God and publish and preach that Word to their families, their communities, to this nation of Australia and to the Nations of this world Our commission is clearly stated by the Lord Jesus in Mark 16-15 – Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
My name is Janice Hartmann and I am the current Leader of the Women’s Ministry. I believe that God has appointed and anointed me in this position for this season. This is the time, I believe, when the strong meat of the Word of God is to be ministered by the Spirit of God to bring forth revelation knowledge, Godly wisdom, understanding and insight. This is the season for development, growth and maturity in our women and it is the Word of His power that will enable our women to rise up with renewed strength, vitality and purpose and thus fulfil the call of God in their individual lives.
Mark 16-19 So then after the Lord had spoken into them……………. Only after the Lord had spoken His Word to them, then and only then, did his disciples fulfil their commission – Mark 16-20 And they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with (the Word) and confirming the Word with signs following.
This Ministry is Christ centred and as we love and obey Him, so our love for each other, our families and our communities grow. As leader, my passion for our ladies, is that we tap into the potential in each precious soul and bring forth the treasure that God has placed within each one. As we are nourished, strengthened and encouraged in Him so each one is able to take up her position in the Body of Christ and be an effective minister for Him.
Currently, we meet every second Wednesday at 10.00 a.m. at the Jacaranda Room, Grand Central. We gather together for fellowship, worship and ministry of the Word and as always, the Lord is faithful to minister to the needs of the ladies and to confirm His Word with signs following. There is also a strong flow of the Prophetic anointing.
We also gather together for Prayer between 10.00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m. on the alternate Wednesday at 215 Rowbotham Street. This is a Holy Ghost time of prayer where we as a group commit strong petitions to the Lord as He leads. This is truly a powerful and a holy time of sweet companionship with God the Father, through our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are currently considering regular night meetings as well so that the needs of our working girls can be met. We love all our girls and we want to ensure that they too have the opportunity to participate in our fun and fellowship. We do also involve ourselves in other ministries e.g. We recently had Faylene Sparkes from Gloryfire International Ministries come and minister powerfully to us and Pastor Jackie Hall from Adelaide is on her way to us very shortly. We also commit to each other in other activities such as morning tea and night fellowships..
We are a vibrant group of ladies who are welcoming and caring for others and we extend a Holy Ghost invitation to you to come and meet with us either as a group or individually and to participate in what the Lord is wanting to do, not only in your life, but in the lives of those with whom you come in contact. You have something precious to offer – you are valuable to Jesus and to us – and we would love the opportunity to grow and develop with you on your journey in life.
