Spending most of his life in South Africa where he met his wife Dee while attending Rhema Bible School and the United States where he also had his own television program, he once again followed the Lords’ leading to move his ministry to Toowoomba Australia. David and Dee emigrated to Australia in early 2002 with their three children. In October 2005 the Lord lead David to start up On The Edge in Toowoomba. Nearly 6 years later On the Edge Christian Centre entered a new phase and came under the Victory Life banner. Victory Life Toowoomba has a large congregation and is rapidly growing.

God's Calling and Anointing

David has a prophetic anointing with particularly strong gifts in words of wisdom and knowledge. This, coupled with his sense of humour and powerful teaching gift, has resulted in churches across the world requesting him to minister. His heart is for those who are hurting, and he has a compassion, sensitivity and freedom in the Holy Spirit that is refreshing, which brings a very strong presence of God.

David also has the gift of evangelism and sees many come to Christ in his meetings. This was birthed in him during the time he spent in Africa as a travelling evangelist. He has ministered in four continents to all levels of society and races and is comfortable in big or small churches, crusades, or home meetings. The testimony from those he has ministered to has been of such effectiveness that most churches ask him to return.

He has faithfully served in the local church all his Christian life and his ministry is geared very much towards building and restoration of the local church. Recommendations and references available on request from pastors and leaders whose lives and churches have been transformed by his ministry. God is rising up strong prophetic ministers in our time, and David is situated as one of those who have a clear call of ministry to the church. Above all, David has compassion for God’s Word, and this is communicated whenever he ministers. He is committed to minister wherever God leads him locally, nationally or internationally.

Bevan & Sandy Greenwood

Serving for 26 years with Christian Outreach Centre, in that time we ran Home Groups, Hospital Visitation, Ladies Meetings, Men’s meetings, children’s church, salvation counselling and were Senior Pastors in Queensland and New South Wales for 12 years. We then moved to the Assembly of God for 2 years and for 6 and a half years with Victory Life Toowoomba. 3 years ago we were ordained as Associate Pastors to Pastor David & Dee McDonald. We are so privileged to be a part of what God is doing at Victory Life Toowoomba. God is an awesome God and we will serve Him with all our heart.

Garry & Lynda White

Pastor Garry and Lynda White through pastoral, evangelical and prophetic gifting, have a strong passion to love people into the Kingdom and help them become all that God has for them. We have seven children between us and two (soon to be three) grandchildren. We are able to minister to our church family and the wider community on the more difficult relational issues, such as, abortion, mental health, adultery, family breakdown, melding the step-family, health issues, building a marriage God’s way, as well as helping young men discover their manhood and much more. Ps Garry & Lynda serve as Connecting Pastors at Victory Life Toowoomba.

Paul & Marion Cook

Ps Paul and Marion Cook have been married since 1968 and were radically born again in 19992 in western Queensland . At the time God revealed himself in power and glory. Both have served in Pentecostal churches since that time and have seen God’s miraculous power demonstration through healing and provision. Paul and Marion now minister through the management of “Life Connect Groups” within the church as well as the visitor lounge. “Hands of Compassion” is a ministry that they operate within the Church community and is concerned with the provision of meals delivered to the sick and hurting. Their ia a Pastoral ministry, involved with counseling and support to those in need, demonstrating the Father Heart of God to the saved and unsaved alike.

Patricia Goldman

I became a born again christian in 1976 and have served in full time ministry since 1996. Trained as a chaplain, ordained as a pastor serving in these roles till coming to Victory Life and taking on the role of Business Manger, leading intercessors and the prayer ministry.
